Praying for Healing for our World..."if My people which are called by My Name shall humble themselves, pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, heal their land, and forgive their sins." 2 Chron. 7:14. Father keep our people safe as we protest the injustices amidst this pandemic.
In the name of Christ Jesus, our Savior. Amen.

Welcome
Welcome and thank you for visiting the website of Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Church. A church where: "Everybody is Somebody and Christ is the Center of Our Praise." We have no vistors here at Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Chruch because we all are: "Brothers and Sisters in Christ." We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our brothers and sisters in Christ. So Come, "Let us Praise the Lord and Worship God in Spirit and in Truth."
Our Mission
The mission of Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and enviromental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed. At every level of the Connection and in every local church, the African Methodist Episcopal Church shall engage in carrying out the spirit of the original Free African Society, out of which the A.M.E. Chruch evolved: that is to seek out and save the lost, and serve the needy through a continuing program of preaching the gospel, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, housing the homeless, cheering the fallen, providing jobs for the jobless, administering to the needs of those in prisons, hospital, nursing homes, asylums, and mental institutions, seniors citizens' homes, caring for the sick, the shut-in, the mentally and socially disturbed, and encouraging thrift and economic advancement.

From the Pastor’s Pen:
When we dip into the well of our understanding, often we find emptiness because our understand is as flowing water that passes by. When we plunge into the depths of God's wisdom and trust His plans for us, we discover life beyond our imagination. God designed us for His purpose and we are not to "conform to this world" but allow Him to guide us and He will show us the way to go.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
Prayer:
Father, we try and we have tried and as always, we call You for direction. We asked that You guide us, as we listen for You to guide us, we step out on faith, asking You to hold our hand that we are never lost. In the Name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
Rev. R.W. Alexander, Sr.

Pastor and Sister Alexander invite you to come and share the warm spirit of the people of God as we worship the Lord together at Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Church. We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve God in this high honor. It is only by the Grace of God that we share these liberties before us. So we welcome all to celebrate the Gift of Life given to us through the Blood of Christ. It is with boldness that we lift up Christ, the Cross, and the Banner on which stands our faith. We desire only that the Word of God be heard, felt, and lived in our lives and shared so that others my know that the God we serve: "has no respect of persons."
"God has given us today, now let us give God the Glory!"
